Today was really laid back. We had a leisurely breakfast outside at our hotel--Antiche Mura.
The breakfast buffet is really nice.
Then we hung by the pool for a while. There is a small lemon grove that surrounds the pool.
We spent most of the day walking the non-tourist part of town looking at the shops and parks. These guys seem to have their own club.
We saw this tourist train and took a ride. Pretty cheesy. But---we were the only Americans on the train. The rest were Italian and the audio part of the trip was full of Italian songs which they all sang along to with gusto. Fun!
Had drinks and a light dinner at the La Colonna Sunset Bar. Great views. As usual, Mt. Vesuvius is always in the distance.
We've got an early start tomorrow for Pompeii and Vesuvius.
