Today was a magical day in Venice. We decided to just walk and go where our instincts took us. We found a small gondola stop and decided why not? The 30 minute ride was a blast--and very beautiful.
When we got off we wandered back to Rialto Bridge and found a spot for a snack right underneath the bridge (literally).

After lunch we took a water taxi for a 45 ride around Venice. Stunning city.
No Mafia--Venice is sacred.

After our boat ride we wandered over to Teatro La Fenice (the opera house) to get tickets for a chamber concert later in the week. There is nothing playing in the opera house while we are here so we took a self guided tour.

The views walking back 5 minutes to our hotel were spectacular.
